Speaker Program

The CMGA'98 program is going to be better than ever.  We have speakers jetting in from the US, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand to complement the world class presentations from our own CMGA experts, guru's and whiz kids (some of them more whiz than kid these days).  We will, of course, be supporting our OS/390 members with many papers dedicated to key interest areas for this platform. Other topics and platforms being covered include Open Systems, AS400, Networking, NT, MQ Series, Internet, Outsourcing metrics, DBMS issues, DRP, PSLC considerations, Cryptography, Data protection, Privacy issues Vs Information needs, Storage issues including new devices and Virtual Tape, Tuning, Capacity Management Systems, Capacity Planning, Software asset management, Network Applications planning, Change management, CICS and Environmental considerations for the IT industry.

As you can see we are putting together a full and varied program, but you are also aware that our great program is not the only medium for the passing of information.  The less formal, but equally valuable, opportunity to candidly discuss issues amongst your peers outside the potential constraints of the day to day work environment should be remembered.
