And the latest change is the amount of time you have to prepare a paper for CMGA'98. Next year we shift from our regular September date to July.

But don't let that daunt you. With the huge range of possible subjects our change of focus opens to you, you'll have no trouble finding a topic which will be of interest to conference delegates.

5 Main streams will include:

  • Mainframe
  • Client Server
  • Open systems
  • Internet-Intranet-Java
  • Enterprise Management

Topics covered within these streams can include but not limited to:

  • New technologies - eg. Smart card
  • Outsourcing
  • Security issues
  • Network Computers
  • Imaging
  • Workflow Management
  • Text Management
  • Desktop Futures
  • Enterprise Systems - mainframe issues
  • Software Performance Engineering
  • Year 2000
  • Testing
  • Network Management
  • Multi-platform Management
  • Asset Management
  • Mobile Computing
  • Change Management
  • Data Management
  • Automated Operations.

This year our aim is to build a program focused on the different platforms or a combination of each providing 3 full days of education and training relevant to the delegates preferred platform. Your paper can be focused for a variety of audiences, technical tutorials describing the technical details of how you've done something, user experiences describing how you performed a particular implementation or how you do things at your site - these can prove invaluable, management focused explaining particular management issues at a high managerial level. If you believe you've got the goods to present a high quality paper contact us by either method descibed below and gain the benefits from presenting at a CMGA annual conference.
